Brokerage Nautical Quarter Stavoren is a young company with a rich history.

The son of a shipbuilding sex, Auke van der Werff grandfather started in 1918 the shipyard where now the yacht brokerage Perseverance is located. There were barges and fishing boats built.

In the subsequent generation were these original activities of yacht developed and widely known by the wharf construction of the Staverse Kotter, a type that is still being built. In 1988 the yacht separate section of the yard and moved to a new location.
