On July 1, 1997, one entrepreneur with big dreams began a small yacht company in Miami, Florida at Monty's in Coconut Grove. Ralph Navarro started with little more than expertise in the yacht industry, business sense and a heart filled with determination to work hard and succeed. He opened Miami Yacht Sales with enthusiasm, but no staff. He would strive not only to broker the yachts, but also answer the phones and provide the best follow-up customer service, which still today is a trait that continues to set him apart as a leader in the yachting industry. From humble beginnings indeed, Ralph Navarro continues to own and operate his same business here in Florida. Its growth has come to tremendous expansion in services and employees. A new name represents this establishment, which this Miami broker with a dream started. Today, he has a great staff, two locations and international customers and affiliate offices. The name Florida Yachts International was created to represent this growth and success. Florida Yachts International owes its success to this entrepreneur who took a chance and believed in his expertise and business ethics enough to risk it all. However, the heart of FYI's success is its loyal and repeat customers from all over Europe, the Caribbean, and here at home in FL.
